Connect the VR headset
ViRTUE is a PC-VR application. Before each use, the VR headset must be connected to the PC so that video and input can be transmitted.
How it works
ViRTUE runs as an application on your Windows PC, not directly on the VR headset. The PC computes the virtual environment and sends video and audio to the headset in real time. In return, the headset sends your head and hand movements, along with the controller input, back to the PC.
For this interplay to work, a connection between the PC and the VR headset must exist before each use of ViRTUE. Depending on the manufacturer and model, wired (USB) or wireless (Wi-Fi) solutions are available for this.
