The user interface then freezes and the operator cannot interact with ViRTUE again until the headset is turned back on. We therefore do not recommend using Steam Link with Meta Quest VR headsets. ## First-time setup **On your PC** 1. Install Steam and SteamVR on your PC if you have not already done so. See [Install SteamVR](https://wiki.vrhandhygiene.com/ai/en/installation/steamvr.md). 2. Open Steam and SteamVR on your PC. **On your VR headset** 1. Get the free Steam Link app for Meta Quest: [Steam Link on the Meta Store](https://www.meta.com/experiences/5841245619310585/). When getting it, use the same Meta account you are logged in with on your Meta Quest VR headset. 2. Make sure your Meta Quest VR headset is connected to a Wi-Fi network and can access the internet ([guide from Meta](https://www.meta.com/help/quest/articles/getting-started/getting-started-with-quest-2/connect-quest-to-wi-fi/)). 4. Open the App Library (the icon made up of a 3-by-3 grid of dots), located on the right side of the main menu. 5. Search for “Steam Link” using the search field. 6. In the list of search results, click the Steam Link application to install it. 7. Wait until the installation process is complete. 8. Start the Steam Link app on your Quest VR headset. 9. The first time you use Steam Link, your Meta Quest VR headset has to be paired with the Steam app on your PC. Then take off your Meta Quest VR headset. 12. Start the PC and log in to your user profile. 2. Open Steam on your PC. **On your VR headset** 1. Turn on your Meta Quest VR headset. 2. Now switch to your PC. 2. Start ViRTUE. **On your VR headset** 1. Now switch back to your VR headset. 2.
